Accompaniments

  • Water crackers

BEST WAY TO PAINT YOUR POTS:

  • Please wipe down your pots with a sponge, or run them under water

  • We recommend sketching out your design with a pencil on your pot first and then painting your design. Please do 2 - 3 coats of underglaze so you get a strong color.

HOW TO GET YOUR WORK FIRED:

  • Book a time to drop your works off here, and we will glaze your pieces clear & put them in the kiln to 1280 degrees.

  • 2-4 weeks after drop off these will be able to be picked up from the studio & enjoyed. We will send you a message when they’re ready.

DISCLAIMER:

  • Now.. our skilled team of potters has lovingly wheel-thrown these beautiful pots for you, and we have gone out of our way to do the very best job we can at throwing these pieces as well as handling them in & out of their first kiln firing.

  • Despite our best efforts, sometimes clay still cracks. We have thoroughly examined the pots when they come out of the kiln and removed any that had any cracks or imperfections.

  • On occasion, they still manage to crack when they come out of the second firing. If this does happen (which is very rare), we will replace the pot that ends up with a crack and we will fir your second pot free of charge.

Love from,

The team at Pot Dispensary
